Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 September 2026
1. Who We Are
Bittbuzz ("we", "us", or "our") is a digital products agency that helps businesses strengthen their online presence through websites, search visibility, customer experience and connected business solutions. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect and how we use it when you visit our website, read our blog, subscribe to our newsletter, or get in touch with us.
For the purposes of applicable data protection law, Bittbuzz is the data controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the information you choose to share with us or that is necessary to provide our services. This may include:
- Contact details — such as your name, email address, phone number, company name and website, provided through our contact form, newsletter sign-up or "Let's Talk" conversation.
- Enquiry & project information — details you share about your business, goals and the services you are interested in.
- Booking information — the date and time you select when scheduling a conversation with us.
- Technical information — such as your IP address, browser type, device and pages visited, collected through standard server logs and, only with your consent, through Google Analytics (see Section 6).
We do not collect special categories of personal data (such as health, religion or political opinions) and we ask that you do not send us this kind of information.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Respond to your enquiries and provide the information you request.
- Deliver the services you ask us about, including website, search visibility, customer experience and business solutions work.
- Schedule and prepare for conversations and meetings you book with us.
- Send our newsletter and practical insights when you have subscribed.
- Improve our website, blog content and the relevance of what we publish.
- Comply with our legal obligations and protect our business.
We rely on your consent (for newsletters and marketing), our legitimate interest in running and improving our business, and the need to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, as the legal bases for processing your information.
4. Newsletter & Blog Subscriptions
When you subscribe to our newsletter through the blog, article pages or the footer of our website, we collect the email address you provide and use it to send practical insights on building a stronger online presence. Our newsletter is managed through our own self-hosted systems.
You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us. We will remove your email address from our newsletter list as soon as reasonably possible after you unsubscribe.
5. "Let's Talk" & Contact Forms
Our contact form and the "Let's Talk" conversation flow ask for details about you and your business so we can understand your needs and respond appropriately. Information you submit may be sent to our customer relationship and automation tools to help us create a record of your enquiry, send a confirmation and book any meeting you request.
We use this information only to follow up on your enquiry and to provide the services you discuss with us. We will not add you to our newsletter list as a result of contacting us unless you separately subscribe.
6. Cookies & Analytics
We keep tracking to a minimum. This website is built as a static site and, by default, does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We use essential cookies that are needed for the site to work correctly — including remembering your cookie choice — and these do not require consent.
We offer Google Analytics 4 as an optional analytics tool. It is provided by Google LLC and helps us understand which pages are read, which are useful and where visitors leave, so we can improve the site.
Google Analytics is off until you choose "Accept all" in our cookie banner. Until you do, no analytics script is loaded into your browser and no analytics data is collected. If you choose "Essential only", analytics stays off. Your choice is stored on your device and applies to future visits; you can change it at any time by clearing this site's browser storage and choosing again.
What Google Analytics collects
Where you have consented, Google Analytics may record your IP address, approximate location derived from it, browser and device type, referring page, pages viewed, time spent and interactions with the site. We do not use it to build advertising profiles, we do not enable Google advertising signals, and we do not combine it with data from other sources to identify you.
7. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. To run our business we rely mainly on open-source, self-hosted tools operating on infrastructure we control — covering automation, customer relationship management, our newsletter and social scheduling. Your information is therefore processed by us rather than by third-party advertising or data networks.
Where you have consented to analytics, information is processed by Google LLC as a third party under Google Analytics, and payment and project information you provide is processed by our payment providers. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights and users.
International transfers
Bittbuzz operates from India. Where you consent to Google Analytics, the resulting data is processed by Google, which may handle it outside your own country, including in the United States. If you visit from or reside in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or elsewhere, your information is transferred abroad for the purposes described in this policy and is protected by appropriate safeguards. You can contact us using the details in Section 12 to ask about the safeguards that apply.
8. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, delete or port the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can also withdraw consent for marketing at any time.
If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, this includes rights under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and you may complain to your local supervisory authority.
If you are a resident of a US state with comprehensive privacy legislation, such as California, you also have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, correct inaccurate information, and opt out of sale or sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising. Bittbuzz does not sell your personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, so we do not treat those rights as opt-out requests.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
9. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse, unauthorised access and disclosure. While no online transmission is completely secure, we work to safeguard the information you share with us.
10. Children's Privacy
Our website, blog and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
